Feature Requests

It's easy to forget to tick the snap to grid box and just assume you are going to get snapped to a grid, then export a map with nonsense size and have to start the export over. Also, when snapping to grid and resizing, if snap to grid enabled, allow an option to only snap to WHOLE grid points, not half-grid and make that the default. Currently, too many ways to mess up grid-aligned resize. It shouldn't be so easy to make a mistake.

It would be very useful to have a rotation tool so we can fully rotate continents instead of having to download an image and trace it onto a new, already rotated map. This is especially helpful if you already have a large portion of the map built.

With the release of 2.0, mask effect options were removed for battlemaps styles. Many members of the community have voiced they would like to have them returned across social media platforms This could be accomplished by reintroducing the mask layer on launch, or by being able to add a layer with mask effect properties.

Ever since the new update I have had in influx of maps called "Untitled" because I forgot to name them.

It would be cool to have a brush that works like any other brush, but for stamps. You could choose as many stamps as you like from the catalog, change sparsity, choose how much space each stamp you chose takes up; It would make forests(among other things) so much easier to make!

I think this would go a long way toward helping those of us with broken maps (or hidden references to deleted assets), in that we can separate out, identify which layers are bugged / deprecated, then reconstruct our map anew from the parts, omitting whatever was messed up.

Option to turn off the hard shadows on Isometric assets. Or make them like regular 'object' shadow options.

An Eyedropper tool that lets you select a brush youve already used, like you click on the map where you painted ocean and it automatically assigns you the colour Ocean 3 or whatever you already used.

I remember this being something you could do with the old brush. Instead of filling an entire area with a texture, you could "invert" the circle to only be a ring. I cannot find that option anymore with Brush 2.0. If it still exists, I would love for someone to tell me how to achieve this again.

When pre-viewing a map, the only options are to clone or download. It would be nice to also choose to edit from this screen as well. Currently, the only way to load a map for editing is by clicking load on the thumbnail. However, this requires you to go through all your maps to find it. If you have hundreds of maps, and you want to load an older map, you have to scroll until you see it. If you search by name, you can easily find a map and pre-view it, but there is no way to load and edit from that screen. It would be nice to have the edit option so you can easily search up a map from within your own library to load and edit.
