When trying to create mask affects, color overlays or tracing small shapes it would be helpful to be able to have the brush smaller than the current " size 5".

I would like to have the possibility to snap / connect a path to an existing one. This would allow for free draw of walls or terrain to be done in multiple stroke and avoid bad overlapping of stamps at the connection points.

When editing nodes and moving them, an angle snap would be helpful, so they can be moved in a straight line.

Change the default colored stroke for new maps from a dashed to solid line. 1) Folks rarely use dashed lines (*), 2) finding the solid lines is a bit challenging with the ongoing catalogue rework. [(*) Dashed lines appear to be used in 50% of world maps and ~0% of all other styles.]

Allow layering multiple strokes and fills on a single shape or line. (1) This could allow for interesting creation of unique strokes that have both elements showing. (2&3) allows for multiple affects over a shape without the need to stack multiple. While the affect can be achieved manually it is much more time consuming and adjusting after the fact is difficult. Having the fills and strokes linked would be a nice QoL improvement.

Would like the ability to to select and adjust multiple nodes at once. Something like shift+click to select multiple, or ctrl+click to keep it consistent with selecting multiple in other tools

Connect Lines with each other in order to create T intersections and branching.

I'd like to start creation mode on an already completed path, so I can continue adding points that are connected to the previous point.

There are different options we could try to improve the corner rendering to cause less issues.

You should be able to remove individual caps from the line so you can get caps on one side but no caps on the other.
