Feature Requests

When trying to create mask affects, color overlays or tracing small shapes it would be helpful to be able to have the brush smaller than the current " size 5".

It would be nice to have the catalog keep your position, search results open, and tags used saved/sticky between working sessions on a map. So when opening the map again you start right where you left off. **We currently have this in champions with the new tag system, but it is universal and applies to all maps. The other addition would be to have each map have a unique save state to remember which settings you have on that map. So jumping between maps or to a new map you wouldn't affect your other maps settings.

I wanted to kindly request a feature that could improve assets placement and customization. Currently, asset scaling is limited to whole numbers, which can make fine adjustments a bit challenging. Would it be possible to allow scaling to the first or second decimal place (e.g. 1.75 instead of just 1 or 2)? This would provide more flexibility and precision when designing maps. Thank you for your time and all the effort you put into making Inkarnate even better!

I would like to have the possibility to snap / connect a path to an existing one. This would allow for free draw of walls or terrain to be done in multiple stroke and avoid bad overlapping of stamps at the connection points.

The idea is just the same as being able to drop objects in and out of groups. But instead of groups, it would be from one custom object layer to another. I think it would continue to help the intuitiveness of the app, following a general rule of being able to drag in/out objects from one side to the other. Also helps the times one simply messes up and works on the wrong layer, or would like to move the object to a new layer for easier separation (without needing to copy, delete, paste, and rearrange the position of the copied assets). "Example" below.

It is currently impossible to create a clean roof-layer for programs such as Foundry. It would be extremely beneficial to be able to export a layer with a transparent background, to the point that I'm looking for other programs specifically because of the lack of this feature.

I have no solution for it but many alpha texture in particular in parchment are just not clearly visible in the Catalog.

Ability to see more than 12 favorites at a time

Tool to select a pixel in the Scene and get a matching color for it. - Useful to get a Path or Text in a very similar tone as the surrounding textures.

An Eyedropper tool that lets you select a brush youve already used, like you click on the map where you painted ocean and it automatically assigns you the colour Ocean 3 or whatever you already used.
