Feature Requests

When publishing variants of the same map (utilizing the provided filters, for example) allow them to be grouped to avoid cluttering. This would essentially function as a "folder" on the Explore page, or search results, with the original map variant showing as the displayed image, and the other variants showing once that map is clicked on. No one wants to see my five variants of "Swamp" when they search for swamp, they just want to see the original version, titled "Swamp" with a little plus symbol or the multiple images icon to denote the fact that there are multiple variants.

There's a wealth of maps on the site unaccessible from the "Explore" tab, that right now only includes maps approved by the Inkarnate crew. I'd like another tab that searches maps by their title for a greater variety when searching.

Draw attention to maps cloned from another user - perhaps by drawing a Red box around them.

Sometimes the final map ends up in a different style than it was created in (Example: Parchment vs Fantasy World) But the original map style tag cannot be changed, so the filter results in explore are mixed.

Would be cool to see who has liked my map after I've published it. Also to see who has cloned it!

Capability to not only search for map titles, but also authors to easily find profiles.

As map author it is interesting to know what will be done to cloneable maps. Also serves as check if someone just republished a map without any changes.

This would make it easier to see which maps have private assets which you have to remove and also check if any maps are accidentally set to not cloneable.

category tags for maps for easier searching for published maps in the explore page or even just in your own collection

I see amazing maps and I want to express to the creator how amazing it was! I see no way other than a heart, but that doesn't get my point across. Map Comments could be used to give compliments on a map or constructive criticisms, and DMs could end up creating friendships or new D&D groups altogether
