Feature Requests

Last week, the mask tool cursor worked perfectly fine. Sometime this week, Windows 10 updated and changed things like icon size, so I changed my resolution to recommended/largest for my monitor (1920 x 1080) (with a text zoom). Then I went to use Inkarnate and noticed the Mask Tool was invisible (or seemed nearly so?) for me until I zoomed massively in (I like to use the smallest numbers 99.999% of the time) on a world map. I tried to report this as a bug and support said that they HAD changed this and suggested I request a change here. I then noticed that the regular cursor doesn't come right back when moving the mouse away from the editing area (to the side and bottom) and also that sometimes the color of the lil' round mask cursor just blends in with green land or blue water. It's so hard to use Inkarnate now!! ETA: Just confirmed, whenever I have Mask Tool selected and mouse away from any toolbar, the cursor disappears and makes it hard to select (find) anything. (Ex., hit Fit Screen). I have to blindly scroll or select a normal tool. (Sure, not when the cursor is GIANT green, but that's always extremely annoying and feels very clunky.)

The ability to apply or copy a layer mask/mask to different or other layers.

I have often Problems to find the Cursor, especially if it's small. Is it possible to optimize that? For example look at the picture, can you find it. It's like a Where's Wally picture xD.

Now that we can move landmasses within the canvas, it would be a wonderful improvement to be able to rotate them as well.

Ability to import image to be used on reference layer for tracing, being easily deleted after tracing is done.

Alternative selection methods that allow multi-selection of different areas to move together.

Essentially the title. Hopefully can be implemented in the free version. Allows copy/pasting of all landmass from one map (via highlighting/grouping) to any other map of any other style (fantasy regional, etc.)

One of the features that I think is missing the most, and which exists in other map creation software (such as Wonderdraft), is the ability to resize selected areas using the ‘Move Area’ tool.

Adding a Pen option to the Mask Tool.

Most notably for classic battlemaps with predominantly white backgrounds, having the select/add/subtract tool having a white border makes things more difficult than needs be. Can the frame colour adjusf automatically to contrast the terrain below?
