Feature Requests

With the release of 2.0, mask effect options were removed for battlemaps styles. Many members of the community have voiced they would like to have them returned across social media platforms This could be accomplished by reintroducing the mask layer on launch, or by being able to add a layer with mask effect properties.

Ability to import image to be used on reference layer for tracing, being easily deleted after tracing is done.

It would be very useful to have a rotation tool so we can fully rotate continents instead of having to download an image and trace it onto a new, already rotated map. This is especially helpful if you already have a large portion of the map built.

P L E A S E make it so we can move more than one land, island, etc etc at a time. It's genuinely painful moving the tiniest sections one by one when making island landmasses to different locations.

It would be nice if we could edit the land mask, to resize it, flip it, rotate it, copy/paste, etc.

Please add the land tool back for top-down maps. It is really nice being able to quickly add water or pits with presets for shadows, ripples, etc.

While moving a single landmass/Area along a linear x-y axis is great, I would love to see you add rotation options as well. Also, the ability to re-scale it up and down along with the aforementioned suggestion to select multiple objects at once are also highly desired.

One of the features that I think is missing the most, and which exists in other map creation software (such as Wonderdraft), is the ability to resize selected areas using the ‘Move Area’ tool.

The ability to apply or copy a layer mask/mask to different or other layers.

Now that we can move landmasses within the canvas, it would be a wonderful improvement to be able to rotate them as well.
