Works similarly to the shape tool, but instead allows you to copy certain parts of a stamp. For example; If i'm using a larger stamp with multiple parts, and I want some of those parts to be in a different layer, i could just use this tool to cut out a specific area, then place it in the layer i wamt! Would be especially useful for Battlemaps.

In general a solution to achieving this more easily without clipping masks and flattening to foreground would be appreciated.

I have found myself wanting to be able to crop stamps frequently. I typically have get creative to hide the unwanted bits in some way. It would be nice to be able to just cut off the unwanted bits of placed stamps.

Be able to crop stamps so that, for example, you can make one stamp look like it's coming from below a stamp in one spot and on top of it elsewhere (a tentacle curving around a rock from below)

I think stamp cropping (as described in a different post) would do the same, but "erasing" instead also allows for more complex shapes cut out of the stamp.
I find this here more useful than cropping stamps.
