Color adjustment for the Top layer

You can now add color adjustment filter on top of BG/FG, but not over Top. And in any case it would affect all layers below it. It would be great if it was possible to adjust the HSBC for the top layer afterwards.

Will be possible with custom layers. Merging this in there.

Color Tint layer/ texture tint
M
Miska's Maps
In some cases textures or stamps have very unsaturated colors or combinations of colors that are hard to adjust with the HSBC Color Adjustment sliders.
As a workaround, I've done overlaying shapes or filters to tint some textures or stamps to a certain color. It would be nice if there was a way to add an adjustable color tint to a texture or stamp in these cases.
Philipp
Will be made possible with the Custom Layer upgrade, there you could add a brush layer with a blend mode to color textures (or stamps) in layers below.
I'll merge this with the custom layer ticket.

Naming layers

It would be nice to add a name to a layer line "-4 Land Masses" "-3 Cities" "-2 Ethnic Distribution". Also, there should be an unlimited number of layers.

Will be possible with custom layers (merging this in)

Just wanted to show support for a specific part of this, namely being able to reorder objects on their layer. Is this planned?
Ex. Having two trees on the same layer, and either via dragging on the sidebar or by right click menu, being able to reorder which is above the other on the same layer.
In the current system, this isn't possible, and would basically mean you only need a few layers.

Layers Sandwiched between Paint Layers

Having an equal amount of layers (-5 to 5) to what is currently above the Foreground Layer that sits on top of the Background Layer and below the Foreground Layer. Being able to use stamps on the base level would allow us to create textured bottoms of rivers, cliffs/ sunken ships/ cities/ monsters/ sea creatures/ mountains/ rocks that can then poke through the surface, or cut through to lower levels of dungeons.
Painting on the Foreground Layer over the lower level stamps could be used rather than using the Top Layer to cover stamps.

With a Custom Layers feature thats currently in development, this will be possible as it will allow reordering layers freely.
