This is a good ide. I leave most maps cloneable so ppl can deconstruct them to learn. Even so, I still got miffed once I found a clone totally unedited on the Explore page.

I would like this. Saw a user I follow; his map was done 3 years ago. Someone made a copy of his map recently and it wasn't tagged nor did he show up as the original designer's clone copy...

This was my idea, mostly on the admin side, to show a map is cloned so it can be checked that the map is made by the user before its posted to Explore
