Allow the user to snap to the end/beginning/waypoint of an already drawn path. Merging would also allow to make one item of two, avoiding superposition of colours.

I am also requesting this be expanded to include:
Line and Shape tools, better landmass (mask tool) accessibility for merging landmasses by allowing the landmass tool to have an expanded merge and snap (good for creating rivers and cliffs).

Also if merging is an option, cutting/splitting the path into 2 or more parts should be possible as well.
