I think a Toggle to turn them on or off is good, either individually or globally

I've noticed that the shadows on isometric assets in Fantasy Regional already exhibit some independence since their transparency is unrelated to the stamp transparency. Perhaps a quick "fix" would be to also blur the shadow so it is diffuse and blends with other shadows without compounding as if there are multiple light sources. Users can then add a hard edge to the shadow as they see fit.

Shadow Toggle for Fantasy Regional Assets
Just like we have a toggle option for some of the newly added clipmasked assets, would be a very nice feature/art option to have Fantasy Regional assets to have toggle option in their unique shadows.
I understand the shadows are also part of the stamp area dimensioning. Havint them being redimensioned once without shadows or just not redimensioned would be fine.
Fantasy Regional assets shadow make then conflit easily with other map styles and its very common for the shadows in itself to overlap with eachother when working Fantasy Regional style maps, which I notice many just use other tools to make the shadows better adjust to the needs.
TL;DR: option to deactivate native shadows on Fantasy Regional (HD) assets.

Built-in shadow change or removal request
I have started building a continent map and chose the Fantasy Regional style. Unfortunately, the built-in shadows on many Fantasy Regional assets imply that the sun is shining from the NW. This works for my southern continents, but not for my northern continents. Can you please provide assets that have shadows implying that the sun is shining from a southern direction, perhaps SW? Or perhaps just remove the shadows from the assets such that we can use the "Shadow" option under "Stamps" to apply none, custom, layer, etc.? Thanks!

I also really need this. Maybe go further, give a degree option that you can set the shadow to any direction. As far as I know, applying a perspective transform is enough. They maybe merged into one function I think.

I’ve been using Inkarnate for 4 years. I’m using isometric for the first time (had been exclusively top-down). Having the shadows built into the asset is extremely limiting. For example, walls and trees that cast shadows over anything but flat ground look wrong - more wrong than if they had no shadow at all. And shadows that overlap get darker, which doesn’t make sense if there’s a single light source. This means objects with shadows can only be arranged certain ways to avoid what are effectively bugs in shadow logic.
