To be able to cut out part of an asset

There is a lot of assets where I only want part of it, and masking can sometimes be annoying depending on the asset and use for it.

I want be able to cut the part of the asset when I place it so I use what I need.

For example: The titan hand in fantasy battlemaps, I want to be able to cut out the bottom palm so I can have just the fingers
