Select items from different layers

In the new layering system, we can erase parts of one stamp and user the rest of that stamp on top of other stamps to make something new. Usually, to line up things, they are made in a larger size and resized/put in place later.

It is very difficult to resize these or line them up because of a lack of selection.

In some cases, these stamps need to be aligned presicely to a dimention in a map (so its a back and forth between composites and exporting and trying to line stuff up)

being able to select stamps/shapes/lines/… from different layers would be a nice addition.

Ultimately also reviving the "copy & paste between maps" feature.
