Quadrant Editor
Large battlemaps continue to be a challenge for creators. This is due to the fact that you can only zoom in so far, even in 4k edit mode, sometimes it's still not enough.
One intuitive idea would be to have the ability to have an overview mode that would allow for placing FG and BG but not stamps.
For example, a large map of 80x80 in size would have an initial view with 4 quadrants. This view would allow you to place BG and FG, easily and seamlessly connecting these quadrants together.
A quadrant would then allow you to zoom into that area to place stamps, thus preserving resolution. Creators can still work at a fine scale on big maps.
Creating the ability to import a new quadrant would allow creators to seamlessly stitch together massive battlemaps that are continuous without the issues of resizing, trying to align textures, and hoping for the best.
Additionally, you could allow new quadrants to be added to this overview, allowing a continuous map to be made across 5, 10, and who knows how many normal battlemaps, with ease.
I did a quick mock up to give you some idea of how it may look.

Partial Map Edits
Being able to select a part of a map and work only on that part without having the rest of it loaded. When you then save that part the bigger map also gets updated.

You can use the resize tool to crop sections of a large map, that you can then edit in greater detail. It will make a copy of the smaller area, without destroying your original.

I need this so much for my world map. Doing a world map and then breaking it down in numerous part manually to do the regional maps leads to some weird stuff.

This would be a massive help for large scale maps, stitching together regional scale into world scale… I bet this is a large technical feat though lol
