Omnisearch Function for layers/groups

I am wondering if an improved search function would be possible (or maybe it is and I just dont know it) where you can find any object on your map even if its inside a group or sub-group. Sometimes I end up with a stamp buried in sub-groups and I have a hard time finding them.
