Move land mass
Allow us the option to move drawings created by the mask tool. It's been a hair bit of a sour spot for me while using Inkarnate since I'll create a really good island or landmass only for it to be too cluttered with something else and be put in the situation where I need to erase it and redraw it.

skulkton@gmail.com: Yeah, it's definitely been one of those annoying things for me as well since it means you'll have to completely remake an area you put your heart in soul into because you happened to put it in a place that it'd be better suited for a different spot in the map

I would also love if you could copy the landmass and import it into a new map to make a more detailed map of that area.

Anonymous: You can already do this with the resize feature. It will do exactly this. Make a new map with the selected area. It will keep the mask shape and all objects.

Philipp True! But you can't copy and paste a land mass doing this, the only way currently is to export and bring back in as a stamp which is a pain. I'd like to be able to make multiple islands that are all identical to one another easily.

Move Landmass will initially allow you to select a continuous shape masked, or unmasked - in other words a single island or lake.
The original shape will be removed, and one or multiple instances of the new shape can be applied at different locations.

Yes this would be amazing, even better if you could copy to other maps aswell making it the perfect tool if they can impliment that.

Absolutely, I think there should be a tool to select an area which overrides the layer system, allowing for individual sections of the map to be moved freely. Instead of only selecting items on a single layer, instead the whole selection is flattened and can be resized or moved. Alternatively I think that a "smart object selector" would be even better, allowing for an island or town to be selected with one click and manipulated to your liking.
For now my solution is to drag maps over to photoshop for resizing if need be, however, transferring the map back is not possible to my knowledge.

This would be an amazing feature and something that's been bugging me as well even though I'm a fairly new user -- really would love to be able to select a land mass, move it around, resize/rotate it -- so when I have a map with landmasses I like but just want to resize them so there's more ocean overall on my world map, I can do so easily.
