More Characters for Layer Names

TLDR:
With many layers, having a 4 or 5 words for the name is not uncommon but the current layer system has a 20 letter limit. I would really appreciate if this was along the lines of 32 or 48 letters.

Long format and reasoning:

My layer structure for example looks something like this:

here I have a multi-layer map where each layer that is on the same “floor” in the map, ans is being exported together, will be numbered the same (so all the layers named 1 will be exported together as one floor of the map).

As you can see the there are multiple layers per level.

More often than not these layers need a name, to distinguish what is actually on the floor, for example floors 3 to 7 here are caves.

More often than not each layer on each floor needs an identifier as well for example here 1 moss, is just some moss on rocks brushed in on stamps. Or on the current active layer, lowest is determining which floor of the cave this belongs to.
If you think about the average word length in english which is 5 (space included 6) this is already 19 characters including the floor number.

A lot of times, I use object layers to mask part of 2 objects that overlap at the same time to create another object and I call these phantom layers. here I tried naming them “top” to preserve length but i still couldnt fully name my layers.

A few more characters, maybe 32 or 48 would drastically improve this experience.
