PT1 allowed for path widths to go down to 0.3. This is very useful when trying to create "line art" on stamps to adjust things. For example creating draping rugs on a staircase, or outlining a custom shape table cloth on a non-uniform table. Id also think this would reduce the flexibility of people using the tool for rivers to have smaller sections of waterways. Images below had to use PT1 because the current minimum of PT2 is only 10, an order of magnitude too large.
