Linked maps and political borders
Add the ability to set and name political borders and when clicking within the borders or on the name of a region you will be redirected to a linked map of the inside of that border. This process can be repeated from world map, to continent map, to country map, to county and city maps

You could do this with the Shape tool, is there any particular functionality you are missing?
