Think line should be default, imagine it will see the most use. Also Line has 'shape pen' and 'shape draw' the labelling is confusing, nothing about 'shape pen' tells me this will make lines between two selected points.
Pen is a common term for vector lines with nodes from photoshop and programs like it. Still not 100% sure its intuitive but its an 'industry standard name' i think.

Dread Maps: think a lot of people will use map maker apps because they cant use photoshop lol (me), if it's a standard terms then it's prob best to keep but think a lot of 'notes when hovering' might be useful
