Feature Request

This feature would act similarly to the notes tool, but instead of giving you the ability to place notes it would instead let you highlight areas in order to keep track of stuff, could be used for mappings temperature, rainfall, air quality, ect…

I would love to see this! For temperature/rainfall maps I currently export my maps then upload to Canva, but it would be awesome to do it all on one platform

How do you imagine this tool to work? Why is it not possible / convenient to do so with the Path or Text tool?

Philipp: I would imagine it manly being for noting something down like the notes tool but for large areas, it would be placed down like the pant tool but then act similarly to a note. You could theoretically archive the same result with the path and text tools however I have found that, attest for me personally has clashed pretty badly with my ADHD or Autism (not sure which) and I figured others might have similar problems.
