We previously addressed this request with the Composite Assets feature, which allows you to turn the contents of a scene into a custom asset that can be reused in other scenes. Composite Assets are exported as a single flat image, so the individual objects can no longer be edited after creating the composite.
We’ve now created a separate feature request for Saved Groups, which would allow groups of objects to be saved and reused while retaining the ability to convert them back into editable objects.
If Saved Groups better matches what you were looking for, please vote on the new request so we can gauge interest in the feature.
The actual save group as stamp feature will most likely be implemented at a later time. (The feature is rather complex)
We are starting development on a Copy & Paste feature that allows you to paste a selection of objects into another map using the OS copy storage.
This should fulfill parts of this request.

Amazing! That would almost remove the need for the "save as stamp" feature.
Any ETA?

We started working on it. The first implementation will allow you to export a scene and save it as a custom asset, named Compsite.

The Group features have been implemented and released, however, the Save group as Stamp part turns out to be more complex than initially thought.
We will resume planning once we have a better understanding of the scope and how to tackle the identified problems.
We know that this is a highly requested feature, and we see the great value in it, we hope to be able to add this feature as soon as possible.

Philipp imo it's the one missing piece for being able to use inkarnate professionally!

This is representative for a bigger Project that includes the following features:
Group improvements
Render groups as single image (so shadow and blend mode can uniformly be applied)
Group properties
Save groups as assets (means also to use them in other maps, and potentially share them later)
Link Groups, so all links are edited the same time (Similar to Prefabs in Unity)
Edit Groups and assets
And more

To clarify, a stamp would be good, but so would (and maybe superior) copying the entire group to a different map. This would allow it to be edited in the new map, beyond the editing allowed on a stamp. But I'd be happy with either!

AnonymousThis is currently exactly what's in testing currently for Champions : copying a group from one map to the other… from a furnished shelf to a whole building. It seems to be more and more stable lately. Fingers crossed!
