This request was partially resolved with the release of our Desktop App for Windows (Online only)

To better gauge interest, I have added a new request for the offline part, and also linked requests for Mac and Linux version.

Please add your vote to these feature requests if they are relevant for you:

Would absolutely love to see this, hell I'd even pay for it, then hopefully I could use some of the 70k additional assets I've made/downloaded instead of having to shuffle 100 at a time.

yea its really frustrating with the lag when the map gets big and detailed, not being able to use my 3k pc to get rid of the lag kinda sucks

Absolutely desire this. Would even pay for it again if it was distributed via Steam (so long as the price is reasonable)

Agreed. Looks like the creators have no interest in doing such a thing as it has been years without any response. I had to cancel my subscription due to lack of optimization online. Will subscribe again if they ever bring a desktop/stand-alone version.

I was looking into some stuff and apparently they can use Electron to create a wrap of the online version of the client, just need to allow it to access ram within systems and storage for more assets to be held onto. I've been wanting something like this for like 5 ish years now.
