Copy Land Shape Mask to Brush Layer

I’ve seen that the last thread where copying land shape mask “https://feedback.inkarnate.com/p/land-mask-copy-and-paste” has been stale for over a year now since last action, was wondering if there’s a way to copy just the land shape as the layer mask onto a Brush Tool, for fine detailing of the terrain and having choices to toggle certain levels/etc, play around with layers, blending modes and some other details here and there without going out of bounds of the land masses.

It’s doable with the current mask tool, but if you have a larger map or plan to make more maps that’s been painted with roughness 3 on the Edge Brush that’s a lot of cutting out to do by hand and sometimes you still lose the Outer Edge stroke from the landmass itself which kinda ruins the consistency.
