African earthern architecture for houses, special buildings, and defense structures

As an historian, I am very interested in making an african inspired village. For this it would be very helpful to get more options for hay and clay based houses in the watercolor top-down art style for example like the Koutammakou region in Togo. Additionally, it would be very nice to get the option of adding earthern walls as defensive structures as in ancient historical Benin City, so called Benin Moat. This earth styled architecture could be simulated as well for special buildings, such as the historical Great Mosque of Djenné or the historical Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou.
