More battlemaps classic

I’d love to request more assets for the Classic Battlemap style! It has a lot of charm, and I’d really like to see its collection expanded so there’s more variety to work with when building maps. More furniture, clutter, plants, rocks, and building pieces would be amazing, along with things for specific locations like expanding on environments, farms, and some workshops, shops, and temples. Little everyday details help make a place feel lived in, and having more options would make it easier to give different locations their own personality without reusing the same handful of assets. More variations of existing assets would be welcome too! Different shapes, sizes, and worn or broken versions could go a long way. There’s so much potential in this style, and I’d love to see more love given to it!

pixel art style

I’d love to request a pixel art style for world maps and battle maps! Pixel art can be so much fun, and I bet y’all could do some amazing stuff with it! Having matching terrain textures, buildings, plants, and props would open up lots of possibilities—from retro RPG world maps to pixel dungeons and cozy little towns. I’d love to see Inkarnate’s take on it!

More For Classic Maps

I think there needs to be more assets. I think there needs to be more shelfs, papers, lockers, weapon racks, and more asssets to decorate.

Fantasy Regional & Watercolor City Nordic Buildings/A-Frames

We have some fun Norse-inspired buildings for other map styles, with pretty cozy cabins, A-Frames, and other fun parts - but there’s really nothing that has the same energy in the actual city/regional map styles!

More mountain types

I would like for mountain types to exist to make a more realistic world’s/speed up the process of making them. some suggestions are, 1 With mountains that already exist add more unique looking/formed mountains. 2 Snow-covered mountains for already and potentially upcoming mountains. 3 New mountain colors, yellow, light grey, dark grey, white, orange, medium brown, a dark blueish gray, and a dark blueish black color just to name a few. 5 Forested and grassy mountain variants (and others if anyone can think of more). 6 Something else that could be considered is multicolored mountains or some mystical mountain types.

Mountains on premodern maps

We have a number of beautiful mountain assets available as stamps in the editor. Is there any chance of adding mountain lines/paths in the style of the Tabula Peutingeriana or Tabula Rogeriana? I love the way those weird mountain lines/chains look on a map, and have wished we had them in Inkarnate on a few different occasions.

Drow/underdark watercolor city stamps

We have plenty of elven stamps and dwarven stamps now but no underdark/drow sort of stamps for watercolor cities. My only hope is that there would be spider-free versions of things, given how often I see any underdark/drow-related visuals covered in spiderwebs, for those of us that are arachnophobic.

Rustic Wooden Stairs: Horizontal Version

I'd love to have vertical AND horizontal versions for all the stair lines. Getting rid of the stair stamps and then not having both options to use as lines feel like a downgrade to me. The asset is clearly made with 1 square width in mind, anything beyond that requires either to make them stupidly large OR stack several lines next to each other, which then brings another issue with the railing on the sides, requiring further manipulations to hide them.

1700's Style Parchment

An early modern parchment style based on maps from the 16th-18th centuries would be incredible. I mean it’s literally the golden age of cartography.

Numberless Scale Legend Stamp Variants

I would love to have alternatives to the Scale Legend stamps (fairy, faun, gnome and standard) from the Parchment 2.0 set that don’t have the numbers on them. That way I could apply my own numbers over them with the text tool to create customized map scales that the numbers on the existing four stamps might not cover.

More consistency between flat and isometric stamps in Fantasy World style

There are several flat stamps without isometric equivalents, and vice versa. I don’t like having to sacrifice one set of stamps to gain another for the sake of art consistency.

Wax Stamp decoration

A wax stamp for sealing letters, approving legal forms, and as a decoration for more refined mapmakers. There could be a bunch of different variants with different symbols on them such as initials, animals, guild logos or coats of arms. There could also be a blank variant so we could add other Inkarnate assets on them!

Scifi parchment style

OK HERE ME OUT an old school parchment style inspired by things like Jules Vern, Warhammer, Spell Jammer or dune. ink and parchment symbols for modern city maps, or for star maps. maybe science fantasy would be more accurate with the examples i gave….hmmmm.

Fantasy Regional - making parts of what is already there

Why cant we get singular stamps from things like “Abandoned Graveyard”? Right now there are no tombstones in Fantasy Regional, why cant I get a stamp (that you already have the texture and everything for) out of the “Abandoned Graveyard”? Also Fantasy Regional is missing so many basic stamps like: Animals, a Church, a Gatehouse and so many more I dont even know about yet…

Conveyer belts and industrial ruins

There should be conveyer belt assets, along with furnaces, mechanical arms, chemical vats, and other machinery that can fit onto the conveyer belt so that you can make assembly lines. There should also be ruined variants of the industrial stuff in the sci-fi pack so that you can make industrial ruins.

colorable alpha textures

Quite a number of the alpha textures wont let you change their hue you can only change contrast or brightness with any effect and that’s kind of annoying. i would love to change the hue for a number of the black alpha patterns/textures that exist and give them some color.

Military Topographic style

I know war games are popular so why not a style similar to military topographic maps with the simple symbols and lines showing the topographic elevations, poi’s ect? admittedly looking at examples suggest the style is really simple but it would be nice to have a way to do this in inkarnate! this is a style request.
