Upload Background Images

It would be nice to be able to upload images as a whole background.
Example: I draw out the outline of a dungeon on paper or another app. Then upload that image into the app as the background. Then in the foreground I can brush the texture inside the rooms.
Allowing me to take a premade dungeon such as that on dungeon crawl and basically quickly make it a battle map. And not have to try to transfer it over by counting grid squares and such.

Here is a youtube tutorial that explains how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Wy8r0uAm9o&t=4s

I believe you can upload the image as a background texture and do what you are describing.

Bitter Dan. I tried. Maybe I’m doing it wrong. But it did it as a repeating texture. I mean a single image to become the whole background. So rather than the blue “water” looking background, it would be the image.
But again. I could be doing it wrong.

Reggie Yancey When you upload your image and use it, go to advanced settings and you see 'placement' and color. Select Placement and you see options for texture scale, rotation, Horizontal and vertical offset. Using Texture scale will allow to increase/decrease your uploaded image to the full size of the canvas by moving the slider. Hope this helps you.

Bryan Marshall Arts Hi, I am trying to do this and when i change the scale it shows the image getting bigger, but as soon as I move my mouse it just goes right back to a smaller scale. I have tried it in firefox and chrome.

Anonymous that sounds like a bug maybe as it should increase or decrease in size and remain like that. You could put in a support ticket to see if an admin can help you.
