If we could include the color sliders in the stroke options (and texture options) so they are always visible, this would help immensely in navigating through the nested screens

Referring to the discussion on discord: It's not about the UI being too complex in offered options or comprehensibility, but rather it bringing up some issues with the work flow due to the three level design.
The main issue: When using available options - mainly those in the third level like HSBC or shadow settings - the popups do cover relatively big parts of the map. This forces to shift and zoom in/out in order to work with map AND path tool open.
ideas we've collected in the discussion to solve the issue:
- popups shouldn't open up next to each other, but above each other / stacked, to prevent them from interfering with the map
- going back to drop down menus for parts of the third level (HSBC settings would fit on second level for example)
- Moving the standard place and movement of the menu to top or right
- Using tabs within one panel instead of popups, closer to editing panels in photoshop or similar software (image uploaded by Bearworks, attached to the post)
- Adding shortcuts or right click to open the third level
Again: The UI base is good. Buttons and boxes follow logical order and are explained well without overloading the tool.
