A tool that makes it easy to quickly create a variety of room and building shapes. The shapes will be editable with a variety of shape tools, add and subtract capability, and the ability to dynamically set the wall and floor style. Additionally, "portals" can be added to create gaps in the walls where windows and doors would go.

What does "Completed" mean? Can I use it now? Only in Beta? How do I get in this Beta? Thanks!

Any idea on when we'll get this?

Is there any timing estimate on when this will be released? I am very interested in having this, and see that it is in all competing tools.

The upcoming Path Tool 2.0 (aka Room Tool) will have node based editing for smooth curves.

Improve the path tool

The current path tool is a raster tool allows the overall resizing and placement of a brushed path. Roads are not usually adjusted that way (moving the entire road or stretching it). More often you just need to adjust the placement of a small section or bend of a path. It would be more useful if the path tool was a vector tool, which creates editable points, connected by a Bézier curve. The curve could have an option for how tight vertices curves are drawn. Concept attached...

Object Snaps

So I am an AutoCAD user and instructor. One of the things about being a drafter is everything is done with intent and precision. This means all the line work is exact and meaningful. That being said, we have a tool to use called Object Snaps (OSNAPS). This tool allows us to precisely and accurately connect line work. Could something like this be implemented? Say your building walls for a house interior, you have to zoom in and manually line up the walls, with the SNAP feature, you do not have to guess.

Snapping stamps to grid would do this too with existing pieces
