I would like to be able to set specific coordinates for the line nodes (technically I'm mostly interested in the start and end points but I could see scenarios where other node coordinates might also be of value).
The reason that I want to have coordinates for the start and end points is so that i could accurately add horizontal or vertical lines not specifically linked to a grid. Two examples:
  1. To add Latitude or longitudinal lines to a map
  2. Add lines to a larger map to create guides that might be used to identify Regional maps within the larger map (for example breaking a larger map into 8 smaller maps).
I know the Resize map function does something like this but as best as I can tell it is not visibly persistent. Perhaps oddly the Resize Map function has the Top and Left coordinate control (plus width and height) that I would like within the line nodes.
I find that I need the clipped Regional Maps because Assets like mountains placed on the larger map tend to appear washed out if they are reduced in size to suit the grid cell but looks great when you use Resize Map to make a Regional Map. You can see this pretty easy if you have a large map (say 100 x 150) and add a mountain that fits in the cell (or hex).
