Export layers with transparency

It is currently impossible to create a clean roof-layer for programs such as Foundry. It would be extremely beneficial to be able to export a layer with a transparent background, to the point that I'm looking for other programs
specifically
because of the lack of this feature.Log In

I would also find something like this very useful. I want to make a video game using incarnate map and would like to apply an outline shader around buildings when you hover over them.
As such a transparent export would be good or if you are worried about people stealing stamp assets the ability to export all stamps filled in with black on a transparent background. I simply want the outline of the objects so I don't care what they are filled with.

We are working on several features that all work hand in hand together, as a side effect exporting with transparency will be made possible.

exporting without background

I've recently start playing on VTT Foundry. It gives possibility to make two layers maps. Like building map with rooftops visible when you are not inside. I wanted to export "roof" as second map to use it there. I have made map of building and then duplicate it, made roof and delete all the other assets and back ground. It would be nice to have option to export without background [assets only], but with map size.

Would you request be solved by being able to turn off the BG or FG layer and export with transparency?

An option to use a fully-transparent Bg/Fg which would allow users to more easily create layered, or multi-level, maps.

I see an alternative option : in case the background layer visibility is uncheck, instead of a black layer, it could be a transparent layer.
