Distance Ruler

I would like to be able to precisely measure the distance between two objects. For example I want to create a unit of measurement (miles, feet, etc) and set what distance on the map equals one of those units. That way I can use the ruler object to accuracy space things out on the map I'm designing. It's difficult to do this with the grid option especially when the maps structors are all over the place.

This is something that wonderdraft helped me understand my world sizes. By allowing a function that measure the width of a grid to be "x" and then have a path tool or point "a" to "b" and show how long that is would help me with my maps.

If there could be a function that shows the distance of a line drawn with the path tool?
First I would need to assign the measurments to the grid. For an exemple if I have a grid that is 5x5 feet then the path tool would show a label that shows 10 feet for two squares, 15 feet for three squares and so on.
This function is a great help for GMing when the players wants to use movement or use distance weapons/spells.

Yes, this is needed! Even just a ruler would be nice to have for building layouts!
