Inkarnate Desktop App Save & Leave Issue

When selecting save & leave in the desktop app it did not properly save even though it showed the "saving" window and it's progression correctly. When opening the map again it loaded the previous save. This happened more than once.

I lost hours and hours of work on a map because of that. I saved often during the creation and then I left.
Now I came back to export the map to use on foundry and it's not back to a few versions earlier: it's back to draft!!
This is just unacceptable.
