I'd like to request some updated Desert concepts. This includes:
Stone walls with ornate etchings carved into them.
More statues & Wall statues. Throughout history besides written works many cultures have used sculptures and wall decor to tell stories and their history. Arabic countries are no expectation.
Pillars with ornate pillar heads depicting Gods or Animals. Even those of leaders from the past.
Door frames and doors made of alabaster stone and mosaics or blue and red hues.
Single accent pieces to decorate other assets such as genie lamps, alligator flowerpots, hookahs, etc.
Textures: More stone patterns, ornate carved patterns on stone floor with red and or blue patterns found in temples and mosaic tiles path textures
Roofs: Stone roofing with mosaics and fabric roofs with more pattern designs along with minaret and domed roofs
Wall tapestries and hangings
Ancient Egyptian furniture in the same style as the beds and chairs. More tables, cabinets, shelves, end tables, lanterns and wall sconces, benches, wardrobes, etc.
More carpenter and building supplies for craftsmen and pulley line networks with more stable slates, lifts and catwalks.
Boats for river ways and more aquatic creatures of the desert variety. Watering holes and sandstone wells.
Sandstone water well and fountains
Arabian market stalls with spice baskets, scrolls, pipes, foods, fabrics and other exotic goods for a bazaar
Stalls with exotic creatures in cages and tons of snake charmer basket
Modular cages with removable lids for exotic creatures (at least 2 materials)
Hookahs and hookah signs for taverns and back-alley bars
NEED ELEPHANTS for caravans and camels.
Fern mats and rugs. Both circular and rectangular with ornate Arabic designs. Lots of different carpets with mosaic designs and magic flying carpets with wind effects or ones that fall into lava (critters you get me!)
Sheer curtains (hue-able)
Magical artifacts, obelisks, sigils
Scientific instruments for alchemy (metallic) and clay jars for storage
Star Charts and telescopes and navigation tools like sextants and map flags
Arabian swords and scimitars in weapon stalls or placed haphazardly on floors in dungeons.
Arabian tents with mosaic patterns and vibrant colors and dozens of pillows to match
Ancient and lost sand dungeons and entrances like in the shape of a tiger.

Desert Asset Pack Additions – Plant Life, Structures, and Ruins
Q
Quentin
A desert themed addition to the Desert pack could truly transform desert maps, adding variety and atmosphere. Here’s a list of plants and structures that could make the environment feel less dry. (I promise that’s the only pun) Even just a few of these elements would greatly enhance the overall feel of the pack.
Desert Plant Life
Cacti:
• Saguaro cactus – Tall, branching arms, a classic desert look.
• Barrel cactus – Short, round cacti perfect for desert floors.
• Prickly pear cactus – Flat, paddle-shaped pads with bright flowers.
• Cholla cactus – Spiny and skeletal, adding a unique visual element.
• Dead or dried-out cacti – For additional variety in desert landscapes.
Shrubs & Bushes:
• Creosote bush – Scrubby with small leaves.
• Sagebrush – Low, tough shrubs that thrive in dry terrain.
• Desert saltbush – Hardy, bushy with silvery leaves.
• Brittlebrush – Bright yellow flowers that bloom in spring, adding color to the desert.
Trees:
• Joshua tree – Tall, alien-looking with spiky leaves.
• Mesquite tree – Twisted, thorny branches with sparse leaves.
• Palo verde – Green trunks with small yellow flowers.
• Dead versions of all trees – For dramatic, eerie settings.
Grasses & Ground Plants:
• Tufts of dry grass – Sparse and sun-dried.
• Sand-loving succulents – Thick, fleshy plants suited to desert soil.
• Yucca plants – Spiky leaves with occasional blooms.
• Agave – Low, thick rosettes, perfect for arid ground.
Floral Touches:
• Desert marigolds – Bright, sun-loving flowers.
• Cactus flowers – Bold pops of color on prickly bases.
• Ocotillo – Tall stems with fiery red tips.
Desert Structures & Ruins
Ancient Stone Ruins:
• Sandstone walls – Half-standing, partially buried by sand.
• Broken columns/obelisk – Tall, cracked pillars or stone monuments.
• Weathered arches – Once grand, now leaning with sand at their feet.
• Sunken staircases – Leading down into hidden tombs or temples.
• Collapsed temple entrances – Doorways blocked by centuries of sand.
• Engraved stone slabs – Ancient carvings or stone markers.
Tombs & Burial Sites:
• Crypt entrances – Narrow stone doors, hidden under sand or rock.
• Scattered sarcophagi – Broken open or half-buried stone coffins.
• Burial urns – Old clay jars, faded with time.
• Cairns – Stacked desert stones marking sacred or lost sites.
Desert Dwellings:
• Adobe homes – Mudbrick structures cracked by years of sun.
• Nomadic tents – Canvas tents tied to twisted wooden poles.
• Wind shelters – Simple, hastily-built lean-tos offering shade.
• Old market stalls – Collapsed, half-buried, with scattered remnants.
Environmental Details:
• Stone paths – Faded cobblestones, lost beneath the sands.
• Buried platforms – Stone foundations half-swallowed by sand dunes.
• Ancient road markers – Stones etched with directional carvings.
• Anchor stones – Large boulders or rocks used for guiding travelers.
Sorry this is such a long list, but I wanted to add as many concepts as possible to help bring the desert environment to life. (Thank you for your time, and I hope you have an amazing day/night!)
PS: I added a few images as references.
