Better Organization

I'd like to be able to set up a file system so that i can organize my maps in multiple folders inside other folders so that i can organize maps by campaign and quest line. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to sort my maps in each folder, which seems inconsistent as of current, so i can have them in order.

Having Subfolder structures would be a fantastic addition for organisation, making things easier to find for DnD

Suggestion : Folders in folders

Hello team,
I would like to start out by saying that I absolutely love your site. I use it for my DND campaign, and we're having a blast. That being said, I just have a tiny suggestion for a little upgrade. Could it be possible to add the option of creating and placing folders in other folders? I have multiple maps of the same place, and instead of having 6 folders in the main menu, I could have 2 folders, with 3 folders each in it. Anyway, that was my suggestion. Keep doing your great work, and thank you :)

Folders in Folders

Just looking to put folders in side of folders. I want to be able to organize my worlds by maps and such. A hierarchy of folders if you will.

You can already create folders, can you specify which functionality you are lacking?

Philipp Hi! Thanks for the response.
I do use the folders, which are nice. The functionality I am speaking of is the ability to put folders inside other folders.
Example.
Campaign1
->Folder1
->Map1
->Map2
->Folder2
->Map1
->Map2
Campaign2
->Folder1
->Map1
->Map2
->Folder2
->Map1
->Map2
If you can put a folder inside another folder, i haven't found such function as of yet. I checked before typing all of this out, so maybe i missed it, but i did look.
Then finally, having the ability to set the order in which these items appear in said folders would further increase the ability to properly organize folders.
Currently, if you edit a map the site moves to the first slot of the folder.
As of current, the only way i can choose the order of the maps in a folder is create all of my maps, then edit and save each one in the reverse order i want them in the folder.
This is tedious and could be improved by a drag and drop feature, allowing us to move a folder or map inside a folder to a different order as desired.
Once again i appreciate your time! and thanks for taking the time to read this.

This is already in Inkarnate. Search up 'How to use folders in Inkarnate'

ThatRandomEshoran okay but it literally is not. there is just basic folders you cant even sort them by alphabetic order. let alone put sub folders inside folders like you can in the standard windows folder system. ( or my personal example scrivener which has a sorting system i really like ) so I dont know how you are making a claim that is so utterly untrue that the people running the site were basically going like. " ah yeah. well get one that as soon as we can "

This Would Be Super Useful for larger world Building Projects so lets say you have a sea, and then you make each island its own map, and then each town on each island, Would be Amazingly useful for MMO Planning like I'm Doing

Folders within Folder

Just the ability to put folders within another folder to help further organize a wide array of maps.

This please, I am begging you, Inkarnate. I have so many maps in one folder for an entire world that has over 10 continents housing a minimum of 3 countries each. Having the ability to separate folders into sub folders would be a massive boon when trying to find and store maps.
