Stamp Area Removal Not Functioning

It seems that the ability to remove a specific stamp using the stamp area removal tool is not functioning.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Select a placed stamp, then switch to the stamp tool.

2. Place: Multiple > Advanced Settings > Area: >0

3. Hold ALT, move area over placed stamps while holding left click

Expected: Stamps matching the chosen stamp are removed within the area.

Outcome: No effect
