resizing textures flickers after latest UI/UX update

when adjusting the texture scale, the texture used to smoothly show a gradual size decrease as it was adjusted, now, with adjustment it just flickers when adjusting and does not stay on screen.

(apparently happens for everyone, and not just explorer)
