Newlines in Notes

For some reason, I can no longer break off paragraphs or otherwise insert line breaks by pressing enter on the keyboard. Instead, all I get is some invisible character in the notes as I press enter.

Notes should be able to be divided into paragraph (just as I did with this suggestion)!
