Keep History (or not) on Clone

Since the long history issue this popped into my mind. Its nice to clone maps to keep specific settings for walls, textures, etc so that two maps of the same area match instead of creating a new map from scratch and adjusting all the brightness contrast etc for each asset.

An option to remove all history beyond visible items might be handy. The option by default is to clone a complete history, but for those that make clones of clones of clones can uncheck this option to reduce the history carry over to a minimal.
