Fantasy World Maps wiping tokens from the map

I opened my DnD campaign's world map, and a bunch of tokens are missing. Recovery did not help, and loading an older version of the map resulted in the same issue, which was caused by the map "updating". I have never had this happen before, and now as I go to edit my world map for a new chapter in my campaign, I find it missing numerous tokens. This bug appears to have been a problem for months now based on other bug reports. This is an absolutely unacceptable bug to have persist for this long, and I am considering rescinding my subscription despite having been a loyal customer for numerous years now. This needs to be fixed, immediately.
