Desktop app forces me to log in if using 2nd+ instance

Since there doesn't seem to be a way in the desktop app to view/edit multiple maps (akin to using tabs in a browser) at the same time, I have to bring up a second instance of the app. The second instance always forces me to log in, even though I already have an instance up.

Not a big deal, just inconvenient
