Bug Report: Using Area Objects does not show painted textures behind it until the page is refreshed

When I create an Area Object using the Pathing Tool 2.0 to create a texture, then paint a texture on the background behind it, it creates an invisible box around the area object that does not show the painted background texture until I refresh the page. The repro steps are listed below.

Screen shot 1: Shows when I painted a background layer and the area object not showing it

Screen shot 2: Shows what happens when I refresh the map.

This is all based on a brand new map created for purposes of this bug report.

Repro Steps:

  1. Start new Fantasy Battlemaps 2.0

  2. Choose landscape default

  3. Set background layer color to all black

  4. Placed an object. Used object "Bushes"

  5. Turned off shadows on placed object

  6. Adjusted HSBC settings: Hue = -20, Brightness = 80

  7. Select Pathing Tool 2.0 and changed brush to pen

  8. Turned off "Snap to Grid"

  9. Deselected "Stroke"

  10. Selected "Fill"

  11. Changed texture to Forest: Bushes

  12. Adjusted HSBC settings on texture to: Hue -20

  13. Set "Path Asset Size" to = 10

  14. Drew an outline of the Bush object with the pen tool, connected it and applied the texture over the bush asset to create a new "Area" object

  15. Set the area blend mode to Overlay

  16. Selected the Brush Tool, Texture: Green Fey Dirt and painted the background layer around the placed object and area

  17. Results: there is a black "box" around the place area the painted texture did not apply even though I painted the entire area around it.
