Art loading with a permissions stuck in the background

It appears that when trying to load a cloned map with custom assets the program is not allowing me to confirm to move forward with removing those assets while simultaneously stuck on loading the art.

I have a snippet of what I mean. I have great RAM and never had this problem before. I have even tried editing this at 1k res.
