Feature Requests

I would love to se a feature that allows you to make a supercontinent and have tectonic plates (self-created or generated) split the continent up, possibly with a time slider to adjust severity. Also would like to see climate, heat, mineral deposit, prevailing winds, ocean currents, elevation, etc. maps able to be made of our maps, even if we have to input data so the program could generate the aforementioned maps.

One addition I would like to see added to the world generation tool, is to be able to chose wheter landmasses touch the map border or not. Would make it easier to create island maps :)

Train a GPT-style AI on the usage of your content library, and then create a conversational AI front end for Inkarnate map generation.

At a minimum more settings for the world generator would be nice. Would love to see a ChatGPT like situation where I give a lazy low effort prompt like "fantasy world map, 4 continents and a group of islands, show city and town markers, show major rivers, trade routes, add details like mountains, trees, circle of stones, a group of floating islands and other such details. 4k map, 100x200 tails, no grid, add key and mile marker. parament." Then get a world map I can sit back and touch on add to change if i need.

when generating random land mass, i want to be able to focus more in the center to make one whole continent

I love D&D and I love battlemaps, but as a dm, it can be tiring to create a new battlemap once a week or two, as I like to make them pretty. A procedural generation tool, that allowed us to set a few parameters like map size, map type (cave, overland), and theme (stone dungeon, tavern tiles, forest tiles) for Inkarnate would make all the difference in the world.

I use Inkarnate for table top RPG games mostly. Problem is - you can't predict every location players are going to enter and do something. Sadly creating Inkarnate maps for this type of situations take way too long, so I rely on a piece of paper and pencil instead. Sadly mapes like this looks poorly and are nowhere near being immersive. I would love some tool where I could adjust some presets and get random map - evil temple, cabin in the woods, poor, old tavern or just another small village PC's are going to visit. The very best option, sadly hard to implement I guess, woud be to describe what I need to AI, but any procedural algorithm would be ok.

Something like Dungeon Alchemist build, where you can choose a theme (Temple/Bedroom/ Dungeon) and its generate the room, so you could get the idea of what the rom should look like.
